Secure-VPN Protects your family by masking your physical location.

Why Use Secure-VPN?

  • Prevent hackers and would be identity thieves from finding your computer
  • Protect your children from on line predators by hiding their location
  • Prevent ISP logging
  • Stop anonying location based advertising

Your Data flying around the room.

When you use instant message (IM) software your real Internet Protocol (IP) address is easily discoverable by the people you chat with. This leaves you open to hacking attacks, and can disclose your real identity and location. Secure-VPN masks your real IP so anyone trying to attack you based on your IP will attack the Secure-VPN servers and be harmlessly dropped. Your true location and identity will also never be betrayed by your IP address; would be snoopers will only find the Secure-VPN datacenter.

Use Secure-VPN in the computer labs

The SecureBar is a web based proxy to be used when you are not at home, or want a quick anonymity solution for web traffic. The SecureBar proxies internet traffic using a cgi script and strong encryption to protect your anonymity. The SecureBar is included for free in all Secure-VPN packages, and is accessible via the members area.

Secure-VPN Email for private communication

Included with every Secure-VPN Package is an e-mail account. Many countries now require logging and storage of e-mail for many years. Using Secure-VPN e-mail will prevent your ISP from logging your incoming and outgoing e-mail so your communication remains private.

How Secure-VPN Works

Whether you use Secure-VPN VPN or WebVPN SSH, your on line activity is protected by strong encryption and port forwarding. Secure-VPN VPN uses the network connection settings that are built into your computer to create a new network connection that encrypts and forwards all your internet activity through the VPN. The traffic is completely encrypted before it leaves your computer and is not decrypted until it leaves our servers. VPN Mobile works in the same manner as the Premium VPN, but because it is designed for mobile applications, it will have a lower throughput and some restrictions on applications. WebVPN SSH is application specific and requires that you set up each application to run through Secure-VPN. Most internet applications have proxy settings built in and you can specify HTTP, SOCKs4 or SOCKs5. Both VPN and SSH are very secure technologies, and each have specific advantages. It is up to you to decide if you would rather choose which applications are run through Secure-VPN, or if you would like all internet activity encrypted.

When your traffic reaches the Secure-VPN servers it is decrypted and sent to one of several internal proxy servers. Each session will return to the same proxy server to ensure proper routing, but each user may use several proxy servers at any given time. Here the traffic is mixed with the traffic of thousands of other users, and sent out of the server to its destination. The traffic returns on the same path and is routed to the encryption server where it is returned to the user in an encrypted shell. Because so many users and connections are emanating from the same server, it is impossible to tell who generated the traffic. This is what provides your anonymity. Anyone that sees “your IP address when chatting, gaming or using other software will actually be seeing the Secure-VPN Proxy address, so any attack levied against you will hit our servers and you will never even know it happened.
