VPN BENCHMARK REPORTS · EVIDENCE IN CONTEXT

VPN benchmark reports.
Read the period. Understand the result.

Explore weekly and monthly VPN speed reports with measured provider and protocol results. Find a reporting window, inspect its coverage, and follow the evidence to the comparison you need.

YOUR NEXT STEP

A report answers “what was measured?”

Use dated reports for context and citation. Use a live comparison when you need two setups evaluated against shared destinations.

PICK THE RIGHT VIEW

A snapshot, a summary or a live comparison?

Weekly and monthly reports

Open a named period and inspect the complete published provider × protocol table.

Performance Index

Read the compact source-linked summary and access its CSV or JSON files.

Live VPN comparison

Choose a test source and compare two setups using eligible shared destinations.

THE REPORT ARCHIVE

Find the period you want to explore

Search by month, week or provider. Cards list the providers present in that report; no provider is treated as a universal winner.

MAKE THE FIGURES USEFUL

What should you look at first?

Start with the window

Read the UTC reporting dates. A weekly report can capture a short-lived change; a monthly report can smooth it out.

Read the spread

The median is the midpoint. P10 and P90 show how widely the measured results vary; a single headline misses that variation.

Check the coverage

Sample totals and destination counts differ between setups. Pooled report rows do not automatically form a matched-route comparison.

THE SERVICES BEHIND THE NUMBERS

Put a name and a setup to each result

A report may include only some of these services. The results table shows which providers were actually measured in its reporting window.

FROM A REPORT TO A DECISION

Choose your next question

Which of two VPNs fits my shortlist?

Compare two measured setups using the same source and eligible shared destinations.

Does the pattern change by location?

Inspect geographic differences instead of relying on one aggregate figure.

What changed over time?

Use the protocol race to examine trends, then return to a dated report for context.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE REPORTS

Before you cite a benchmark

Are reports the same as a test of my connection?

No. They describe measurements from the test network. For your current connection, use the speed test.

Can a report change during its reporting period?

Yes. An ongoing week or month can gain measurements as the report generator updates it. Always include the displayed measurement window and the date you accessed it.

Why are some providers absent from a week?

A report reflects the available quality-checked measurements. Missing rows do not mean zero speed or a failed service.

How should I quote a result?

Include the report URL, UTC window, provider, protocol, metric and sample count. Do not turn one row into a claim that the provider is fastest everywhere.
